Chen Qun

Chen Qun (陳羣) was a minister serving Cao Wei, one of the regimes that competed for control of China during the Three Kingdoms period.
Chen Qun was the creator of the Nine Class System for civil service nomination. Following the somewhat early death of emperor Cao Pi, Qun became the new guardian of the military. Qun, Sima Hui, and Cao Zhen all advised Cao Pi's son, Cao Rui, to become the new emperor.
