Cheddington railway station is a little way outside the village of Cheddington, near Mentmore in Buckinghamshire, England. The station is 58 km (36 miles) north west of London Euston on Silverlink County's "London-Northampton Line".
Just north of this station, at Bridego Bridge near Ledburn, at a bridge on the northbound stretch to Leighton Buzzard railway station, the Great Train Robbery of 1963 was carried out.
Cheddington was formerly a junction for the LNWR Aylesbury branch. This branch terminated in the east of the town and made no connection to the GCR/Metropolitan Railway station in the town. The branch closed in the 1950s however the branch platform is still in situ at Cheddington and the curve of the branch is now part of the station approach road.
[edit] Services
There is generally an hourly service from Cheddington to London Euston, southbound and Milton Keynes Central, northbound each day.
