Check it Out! was a Canadian television sitcom, which aired on CTV from 1985 to 1988. It also aired in the United States on the USA Network.
The show, a workplace comedy set in a supermarket, starred Don Adams as manager Howard Bannister. The cast also included Dinah Christie, Gordon Clapp, Barbara Hamilton, Kathleen Laskey, Jeff Pustil, Simon Reynolds, Aaron Schwartz and Tonya Lee Williams.
In Argentina the show was called Supermercado 99 ("Supermarket 99") to hook audiences and make them believe it had something to do with the Get Smart TV series[citation needed]. "99" was a reference to Control's Agent 99, played by Barbara Feldon.
