Wikipedia has a tendency to change when you're not looking. That is all part of the Wiki Way, of course. But confusion often arises when an editor is away for a short time, even just a few weeks, and a policy, process or guideline has been changed in the meantime. The editor may well be unaware of this and stick to, or quote, the old version, even if it's no longer there. Even if active daily, the editor may be unaware of the change if he happens to not have the page watchlisted.

The point of this page is to provide a central list of significant changes or additions to policy, process or guideline pages, so that editors can see what changed on Wikipedia since they last looked at it. Please keep entries short, and do not describe here why the change was made (instead, link to the relevant page). Please do briefly tell users what to do with the process, e.g. "use this template for that purpose".

This page should not be used for proposing anything (use WP:RFC instead), and changes should not be logged here unless it's clear they have consensus. Please list new items at the bottom, and add a section header for new months as necessary.
