You are welcome to use my signature. But you have made a diffent link in you sig from mine(probably intentionally). The green 'e' in my signature means I'm a member of Esperanza. You are welcome to join esperanza although membership requires a minimum of 150 edits. So if you stick around, contribute a bit & you can soon join. You may want to change the colour the green 'R' as people may mistake you as an Esperanzian & send you messages. Although it's upto you. For more info about Esperanza click the link provided above. I really hope you stay with us & see how wonderful Wikipedia really is!

I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself to some of the people here

[edit] WikiProject South Park

I have thought of creating a WikiProject for South Park since it is now near its' 10th anniversary and has more articles than ever. I feel we could all do the following things through this project:

  • Cleanup any short/poorly written/unformatted articles
  • Merge/lengthen the many character articles
  • Improve the South Park main page

Hello,

I couldn't help but notice you left the same message, in the form of an un-substed {{User talk:ChaplineRVine/hello-alt}}, on quite a few talk pages -- it looks like you went alphabetically through the people in Category:Conservative Wikipedians. At the moment, User talk:ChaplineRVine/hello-alt contains a encouragement to go vote at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/February 15, 2003 anti-war protest.

I'm asking you to please not do anything like this again. First, it's a misuse of templates. If you'll take a look at Wikipedia:Template substitution, I think you'll agree that messages like this should be substed, or just copy-pasted, but not transcluded. That's what really got my attention here. Second, this kind of talk-page spamming is discouraged, especially when it is used to try to influence the result of an AfD or the like.

That template you've been leaving contains several topics that are annoying to have show up on your talk page - esp. the AfD one. It might be better if you ust left a normal "hello" without the template. --Tim4christ17 09:04, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, the land of the nutcase and the home of the fruit. How did you learn to make such a fancy signature so quickly? I've been here for 5 weeks and can't do anything better than ~~~~ Wikipedia is quite an adventure, I can tell you that. It can be a lot of fun but it can be quite frustrating, too. Just try and keep your calm when the going gets rough..and it can sometimes. in response to your question, in order to become admin you need to be nominated or self-nominated, at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship. then people will either support or oppose you and you need a consensus of 75-80% to pass and be given admin rights. if you want to nominate yourself or another user for adminship, follow the instructions on this page: Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/nominate. if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. i'll usually respond within a day.

also, for future reference, please don't use templates for questions like this. if you have a question and you feel you need to ask multiple people, it's better to copy and paste. --preschooler@heart my talk - contribs 19:23, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
