I'm pretty excited about getting started with Wikipedia. I am continually impressed by the integrity of the editors here, and the quality of the research.

[edit] Origins

I'm a Native Californian, recently transplanted to New England. Things are very diferent here! I saw snow falling for the first time last week.

I am a UCSD grad. I'm one of those people who abused their undergraduate time to fulfill a wide variety of interests rather than focusing on one clear path. This is likely the reason for my seemingly endless job hunt.

Presently I am a bit nervous about jumping in with editing. I think I will start small with typos, is that how it usually works? I would love to get involved with some kind of group projects involving literature.
