One man's view of where to go from here:

I'm not sure how many editors are still "out there" with interest in continung to improve this article. Those editors ought to focus on making what is already on the site as factual and neutral in viewpoint as possible. Also, to improve the consistency of the language and quality of the writing.

A second important aim would be to diversify the information and viewpoint by including--as much as possible--data, content and links from churches outside the U.S.

Only after these goals are met should there be an attempt to expand the article beyond its present state.

I've revamped and brokendown the CEC discussion page to conform to the present subsections of the article. If you have a comment or question or discussion you wish to introduce, please make it subsection-specific or, if general in nature, please post it on that talk page.
