Chattanooga is a town in Oklahoma, United States. The population was 432 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Lawton, Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Chattanooga is located at 34°25′23″N, 98°39′18″W (34.423012, -98.655030)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 432 people, 170 households, and 114 families residing in the town. The population density was 340.4/km² (882.1/mi²). There were 182 housing units at an average density of 143.4/km² (371.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 81.02% White, 0.69% African American, 8.80% Native American, 5.32% from other races, and 4.17% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.95% of the population.

There were 170 households out of which 32.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.4% were non-families. 31.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.54 and the average family size was 3.14.

In the town the population was spread out with 28.9% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 30.3% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 11.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 92.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.3 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $26,944, and the median income for a family was $38,750. Males had a median income of $24,545 versus $19,821 for females. The per capita income for the town was $12,989. About 7.1% of families and 13.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 11.6% of those under age 18 and 12.2% of those age 65 or over.
