Charter of Democrarcy (Urdu: میثاق جمہوریت ) was signed by Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan Muslim League and Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan Peoples Party on May 14th, 2006 in London. This agreement between two major political parties of Pakistan would push for restoration of democracy in Pakistan and reduce tension between these antoganistic political parties. This agreement will be presented to Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD) on July 2, 2006 for approval by member political parties in Pakistan.
