[edit] Artifacts
- The Hollow: an ancient vapor and the most powerful force of unknown origin which absorbs all forms of magic it comes in contact with, whether it be good or evil. It appears in a swarm of vapor-like particles floating in mid-air, but can also reside inside a living being, thus possessing their corporeal form. It is eternal and cannot be destroyed by any known means, rather it can only be contained when powerful representatives from both sides of good and evil join forces. It actually possesses no mind or personality but rather acts like a virus, mindlessly consuming all magic it touches, thus was always referred to as the "void" by the Seer and the Avatars. It is kept in an ancient burial ground as a pact agreed upon by both sides and is heavily guarded by powerful beings. It has been said that this is the "ultimate power" that will be the end of good and evil, thus creating a void as a reality.

[edit] Trivia
- This episode's title has become popular in the fan world of Charmed, frequently used as the name of mailing lists and fan websites.
- The episode's title was also used in the episode The Power of Three Blondes, after the Stillman Sisters steal the Charmed Ones' identities.
- Orignally the original Source was to not have died in this episode but in the last episodes of the season. The story was altered and Cole was taken over by the Source. The original idea would of seen the Cole/Source story being used in season 5, and having Long Live The Queen serve as the 100th episode, and Cole's final episode.
- It is the first episode to show the Seer.
- The episode title is in reference to the phrase armed and dangerous which is used when a police officer is pursuing a suspect who is considered armed and dangerous
- It is the first time we see the face of the Source.
- The actor who plays the Source, Peter Woodward, would later appear as a different character in the series episode Someone to Witch Over Me.
- It is the second time Paige uses the Vanishing Spell, last used in Hell Hath No Fury.
- Paige used the Vanishing spell successfully even after she lost her power. It's possible she only lost her power to orb, since that's the power that was taken, and her standard witchy powers were kept intact.
- It is the first episode to show Cole reverting to evil.
- This is the second time we see Leo shot with a Darklighter arrow. The first time this was shown was in the episode Love Hurts.
- The Hollow would return again in episode Kill Billie Vol.2 and the series finale Forever Charmed.
- This is thought to be the defining episode where Cole's ability to have a normal future fades forever.
