Charlotte Christian has developed very stong baseball and boys basketball teams under head-coaches Greg Simmons and Shonn Brown, respectively. Year in and year out, both create opportunities for state championships.

Charlotte Christian has been blessed with many coaches having played at professional levels. The football team is aided by Kevin Donally, Eugene Robinson, Steve Israel, and Sean Gilbert; all of whom played numerous years in the NFL as well as Mike Rose who coached at both Clemson University and the University of Michigan. The basketball team reaps just as many benefits from professionals coaching by the teaching of NBA greats Bobby Jones and Dell Curry.
