Charlie Quintana

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Charlie Quintana is the current drummer for the old school punk band Social Distortion, who joined in 2000 as the replacement of Chuck Biscuits (of D.O.A. and Danzig), following the death of the band's former guitarist Dennis Danell.

He was present on their latest and long-awaited sixth album Sex, Love and Rock 'n' Roll (2004) and their next album that is due for release sometime in 2007.

Before joining Social Distortion, Quintana toured with their Mike Ness' solo band and recorded with him on his second solo offering Under the Influences. He was also a member of 70's punk band The Plugz and Izzy Stradlin's Ju Ju Hounds and has toured with Joan Osborne and Bob Dylan. He also briefly played with the alternative band Cracker.
