Charlie Harper (born David Charles Perez, on 25 April 1944, London, United Kingdom) is the singer of punk band UK Subs. A former hairdresser, he was already a veteran of the London R&B scene at the time of the UK Subs being formed in 1976. Despite his advancing years, he continues to tour extensively, typically between 100 and 200 gigs a year. The UK Subs fanbase continues to diminish, but Harper has the compensation of a large royalty cheque on which to retire following Guns N' Roses' cover version of "Down on the Farm" on 1993's The Spaghetti Incident?.
