Charles d'Évreux

Charles d'Évreux (1305September 5, 1336) was the son of Louis d'Évreux and Marguerite d'Artois.

From his father, he inherited the lordship of Étampes, which was erected into a county in 1327.

He married Maria de la Cerda, Lady of Lunel, the daughter of Fernando de la Cerda, in April 1335 at Poissy. They had two children:

  1. Louis II d'Évreux (13361400), married Jeanne (d. 1389), daughter of Raoul I of Brienne, Count of Eu
  2. John (1336 – aft. 1373, Rome)
