Charles William Dunbar Staveley

Charles William Dunbar Staveley (born 18th December 1817 - 23rd November 1896) was a general of United Kingdom. He was the son of William Staveley. From 1862 to 1863, Major General of China and Hong Kong.

He participated in several military action in China. At the commencement of the Second Opium War he was Colonel of the 44th Regiment of Foot. He was promoted to command the 1st Brigade of the 1st Division as part of the Anglo-French forces.
