Charles W. Fisher

Charles Wellington Fisher, was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Northwest Territories from 1903 to 1905 and a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1905 to 1919.
He was best known for his role as the first speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1906 to 1919. He died in 1919 of achronic valvular disease of the heart. His family and colleagues suspected foul play in his death, but this could not be proven.
