Charles "Peanut" Tillman (born February 23, 1981 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American football cornerback for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. He was selected with the 35th overall pick, third in the second round, of the 2003 NFL Draft. Most believe that he earned the nickname "Peanut" due to a tattoo of the Planters Peanuts "Mr. Peanut" character on his hip, but it was given to him by his grandmother.
Tillman was a two-time All-District 8-5A and all-area team selection at Copperas Cove High School in Copperas Cove, Texas. He was named to the Super Cen-Tex team by the Austin American-Statesman and All-State Class 5A honorable mention.
He was a four-year starter at left cornerback at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
