Charles Henry Stuart Gmelin (born May 28, 1872) was a British athlete. He competed at the 1896 Summer Olympics in Athens.
In the preliminary heat of the 400 metres, Gmelin placed second behind Tom Burke of the United States. This qualified him for the final, where he placed third to win a bronze medal.
Gmelin placed third in his preliminary heat of the 100 metres and did not advance to the final.
