Charles E. London secondary school is a public high school serving students between grades 8 to 12. Located in an upper-middle income suburb of Richmond, British Columbia.

The school was named after Charles Edwin London (1860-1941), a pioneer farmer. It was originally built in 1965 as a primary school, and functioned thus until Maple Lane Elementary School opened in 1954. It was then rebuilt as a junior high school with a grade 8 through 10 curriculum, and re-opened in 1975 [1]. Early in the 1990's, the school was gutted by fire, the cause of which was later ruled to be arson. The school was largely rebuilt, with the gymnasium the only part of the structure that was not damaged. In 1995, coinciding with the reopening of the new school, the Richmond School Board amalgamated junior and senior high schools into a single entity. The first graduating class from London was therefore the class of 1997.

Today, C.E. London boasts a population of around 800-900 students, many of whom are from south-east Asian countries such as Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.

Historically, the school mascot was a lion, and sports teams were called the "Lords". However, owing the political incorrectness of this term, it was changed to "Legends" in 1995, and the mascot changed to a Pegasus.

Due to a cost-saving measure passed by Richmond City Council in 2005, London Secondary school and the neighbouring Steveston Secondary school will be merged to form Steveston-London Secondary School in 2008. The present facilities of Steveston Secondary are scheduled for demolition around this same time.
