Charles Crichton (b. August 6, 1910 in Wallasey, Cheshire - d. September 14, 1999 in South Kensington, London) was an English film director who became best known for his comedies produced at Ealing Studios. Crichton enjoyed an extremely long career, directing many films and television programmes over a period exceeding 40 years.
