Charles-Joseph Sax

Charles-Joseph Sax (1 February 1791-1 February 1864) was a Belgian musical instrument maker. His son was Antoine-Joseph Sax, the inventor of the saxophone, the saxhorn, and the saxotromba. Charles's son was also named adolphe sax.
