Charlene Marilynn D'Angelo (born 1 June 1950, Hollywood, California), usually known just as Charlene, is a singer best known for the hit single "I've Never Been to Me".

Charlene signed to Motown Records in 1973, under the name of Charlene Duncan, and released her first single, "All That Love Went To Waste" in January 1974. In 1977 she reached number 97 on the Hot 100 singles chart with "I've Never Been to Me" (written by Ron Miller), but was unable to build on this success, and was dropped from the Motown roster in 1980. Charlene moved to the United Kingdom and had left the music business, until, in 1982, Tampa, Florida disc jockey Scott Shannon, then at WRBQ, started playing "I've Never Been to Me". Audience reaction was impressive, and spread quickly, resulting in the song's re-issuance by Duncan's label. The re-released single would go on to peak at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, also hitting number 1 on the UK Singles Chart in the summer of 1982.
