Chapter Arts Centre
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Chapter Arts Centre is an arts centre in Canton, Cardiff, Wales. It hosts films, plays, performance art and live music, and includes a free art gallery, café and bars. There are also over 60 work spaces, used for an eclectic range of purposes including Chapter's own training courses.
Chapter has one of the best stocked bars in Cardiff, with a wide range of whiskies and other spirits, imported beers and a rotating selection of real ales.
Income for the venue largely derives from the film theatre: as well as showing mainstream Hollywood films, it is the only theatre in Cardiff to show a considerable array of foreign and independent films on a regular basis. Along with the city's Cineworld cinema, Chapter is a venue for the annual Cardiff Screen Festival.
