Chapman High School is a small high school located in Inman, South Carolina. It is the successor to Inman High School as it was outgrown. The mascot is currently a panther, modified from the "purple panther" it used in the early years of the schools establishment (1951). The colors and "paw" are very similar to the trademarks used by nearby Clemson University. This year's class (Class of 2006) will be the last to graduate in the current building. Regional growth has warranted the establishment of a newer, larger facility that is expected to be finished by the fall of 2006.
