Chapin Sisters

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Chapin Sisters are a musical group consisting of three daughters of Bonnie Chapin: Abigail and Lily Chapin, whose father is singer Tom Chapin, and Jessica Craven, whose father is Wes Craven and whose stepfather is Tom Chapin. They describe their music as a "blend of traditional folk harmonies and indie rock moodiness" and are known for their vocal harmonies.

The have appeared with Tom, Steve, and Jim Chapin at tribute concerts for their late uncle Harry Chapin, and have also toured nationally on their own [1]. Their slow, acoustic version of Britney Spears' song "Toxic" gained attention and limited radio play. They have produced at least two CDs and have also appeared on their uncle Steve Chapin's "The Chapin Family Christmas Collection" CD (also featuring their cousin Jen Chapin).

They are managed by Jonathan Craven, son of Wes Craven.
