Channel 7 reaches 140,000 homes in North and North East Lincolnshire on ntl's digital television network channel 879 and analogue channel 107.

Channel 7 was originally set up in Immingham's Immage 2000 Studios in 1996 by John Trevitt for the local community to showcase their talent and for information about local area and its events. However more recently the Grimsby Institute bought out the channel and turned it into a student channel with very little community programmes now being produced[1].
