[edit] Get the emulator working
Go here to download the Chankast emulator: Chankast Extract it from the RAR onto your computer.
You will also need Dreamcast BIOS files. Legally, the only way you can obtain these files is to rip or clone these files from your own personal Dreamcast. Extract these files onto your computer and copy the BIOS files to your Chankast directory. After this is done, the emulator should boot DreamCast when you double click the Chankast.exe file and then go to Run --> Start. You will then need to format the VMS card if you want to save your games. This can be done by starting up Chankast with no game loaded. Then while in the mode with no disc go to File --> Select a memory card --> Delete All Memory (Reset). Then select an icon and a color and then confirm your settings. It should then delete the memory card and tell you it was reset. After this, close the Emulator and reopen it. You will now be able to save games. To load games into the emulator, you will either need to use your own Dreamcast games or use Daemon tools to mount Dreamcast game images. Please note that running copies of games that you do not own is illegal. Daemon tools can be found here: D-Tools
After that is installed, and you have restarted your computer, you will see a red lightining icon at the bottom right corner of your Start bar in windows. Right click on it, then Select Virtual CD/DVD ROM ---> Device (no media) --> Mount Image. Locate the game that you have downloaded that you want to mount. When the disc has been mounted, open Chankast again. Go to Options --> Configure drive. Select the Virtual Drive letter that has the game on it. Finally, once this is done, Click Run --> Start. The game that you have should load and then you can play.
