Chandgiram

Master Chandgiram is an Indian wrestler who is known for defeating champions from numerous other disciplines. A wrestling legend, Master Chandgiram has ruled the Akhara for many years. Some of his fights were so potentially violent that they had to take place in Nepal as the Indian government refused to either sanction these fights or to let an unsanctioned match take place within India. Master Chandgiram teaches wrestling to various students and the Chandgiram Akhara (Dojo) Master Chandgiram Vyayamshala (Mahu), is the focal point of Pehlwani in the city of New Delhi, India.
