The Chance RT-52 is a small bus measuring only 25' 11" long. It is primarily used as shuttle bus and normally carries 19 passengers. The maximum passenger capacity is 23 passengers. Its gross vehicle weight is 24,000 lb, its wheelbase is 170 inches, and it is 96 inches wide. [1]

The RT-52 was built by Chance Coach, Inc., in Wichita Kansas. Chance Industries Inc. sold the streetcar and bus business, Chance Coach, Inc., to American Capital Strategies in 1998, which rebranded the company as Optima Bus Corporation[2].

Optima now sells the Opus with Wrightbus bodywork [3].

These buses are notable because they were used in the "Wiki Wiki" route at Honolulu International Airport. The first wiki, called WikiWikiWeb, was named by its programmer, Howard Cunningham, after this line of buses. The buses also have been purchased by Pace, primarily for use in Niles, Illinois.
