Champion Stakes

The Champion Stakes is a Group 1 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds run over a distance of 1 mile 2 furlongs (2,012 metres) at Newmarket's Rowley Mile course in October. It was first run in 1877.
