[edit] Secret moves

June has never shown any attack, she only fights with her whip. Besides, June's appearance in the manga is a lot shorter than the anime version. In the manga she just appears, tries to fight/convince Shun, and was defeated. Toei Animation didn't give her any techniques to show off with.

There is a lot of false information out there saying she has some techniques, like "Mimetism" or "Tail Whip", but they are just fan made.

[edit] History (manga)

June was one of Silver Saint Cepheus Daidalos' disciples at Andromeda Island, along with Shun, where they trained together with the wish to obtain their own cloths someday. June was very fond of Shun. When Shun fell unconscious due to the harsh trainings, she takes care of him through all the long cold nights and help bandages Shun's injuries.

During the final phase of Shun's training, June discovered that Shun had asked for the "final sacrifice", it is a final test to show if he was worthy to obtain the Bronze Andromeda Cloth. June was worried and afraid that Shun could die from what seem to be an impossible test, but in the end Shun sucessed and became Andromeda Bronze Saint.

Some time later, June became a saint also as the Bronze Chamaeleon Saint, but her happiness didn't last for long, because their master was murdered by a Gold Saint, Pisces Aphrodite due to the order of Pope. As June discovered that Shun was going to the Sanctuary to fight against the Gold Saints she tried to stop Shun for she knew about Sanctuary and Gold Saints' power, but failed anyway.

After that June did not appear in the show again, and her whereabouts are unknown.

[edit] History (anime)

Her story in the anime version is much like the manga one, except for a few minor changes. The Andromeda Island is destroyed by Scorpius Milo but Pisces Aphrodite is the one who killed her master. She traveled to Japan to try to convince Shun not to go by fighting Shun with the help of Leda and Spika, (who were some anime-only saints from Andromeda Island), but her efforts failed for Shun was able to defeat all of them. After Shun knocked her out, he took her to Tatsumi and asked him to take care of June as he gets on the plane on his way to fight the Gold Saints in the Sanctuary.

[edit] Bronze Chamaeleon Cloth

The Chamaeleon (Chameleon) Cloth is one of the 88 of Athena's "army", the Saints. There are 3 levels, and Chamaeleon Cloth is one of the lowest one in the Bronze Saints level, along with other 47 cloths. It represents a Chameleon with the tongue out and the tail in spiral. It's one of the few Cloths with weapons.

There are no apparent differences between manga and anime version. But the anime object (the cloth when it's not in the saint) was never shown. The one pictured is the manga version with color.

[edit] Chamaeleon Myth and Constellation

Since the constellation is an invention of the 17th century and was not visible to early Mediterranean cultures, there is no mythology associated with it.

For Constellation details, see Chamaeleon

[edit] Notes & Trivia

  • It's known that every female saint has to cover her face with a mask to renounce her female side. If a man sees her face, she has to love him or kill him. However, in the story she reveals her face to Shun (it's supposed that she love him), but in the series Hyoga, Seiya, Saori, Tatsumi (only manga), and the Steel Saints (only anime) have seen her face too.
