Chad Muska

Chad Muska (born May 2, 1977 in Lorain, Ohio) is an American professional skateboarder. He began skateboarding at the age of 11. Over the span of his career he has been sponsored by Maple, Toy Machine, Shorty's, éS Footwear, C1RCA, C1 Denim & Supply Co., Black Magic, Fury Trucks, Ghetto Child, TSA, CCS Etnies, KR3W, Element, and Supra.

Using earnings from his pro skateboarding career, Muska set up his own makeshift music studio in his Los Angeles home and later moved to a New York City hotel, the SoHo grand, and produced a hip hop album, "MuskaBeatz", featuring stars such as Afrika Bambaataa, Raekwon, Special Ed, KRS One, Biz Markie, Prodigy, and Ice-T.

In early 2004, Muska started to step away from the skateboarding industry and became a figure in the Hollywood club scene. Around this time he also dated Paris Hilton[1]. Recently, while DJing at a club in Los Angeles that Muska regularly spins at, Kevin Connolly punched him in the face over comments made about Nicky Hilton. Connolly was then escorted out of the club. In late 2005 Muska started to make a comeback into the industry. He left long-time sponsor Shorty's Skateboards on July 1, 2006 and was developing a new project, although he then joined Element on November 29, 2006. His current sponsors are Supra Footwear, KR3W Apparel, Element Skateboards, Ricta Wheels, Mob Griptape, Independent Trucks and Brooklyn Projects. He has designed a high-top signature shoe for Supra, they will be released soon in the following collorways: white, gold, and black croc skin.

He has been featured in all of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Tony Hawk's Underground video games. He has also been featured in Shorty's Skateboard's films: Guilty, Toysoldierz, Fulfill The Dream, How To Go Pro, and Bak2Basics. He is scheduled to appear in the latest Element skateboards project which is to be released june 2007 on "go skateboarding day" titled "my element".

Chad has also made cameo's in music videos such as singer Kelis' "Bossy", N*E*R*D's "Rock Star", and the Handsome Boy Modeling School's "The World's Gone Bad", and later was featured in HBO's Entourage.
