For the Australian rules footballer, see Chad Gibson.

Chad Gibson (born Sydney, Australia, 19 June 1976) is a football (soccer) player. He is club captain of Queensland Roar FC, which is a founder member of the A-League competition.

Gibson plays as a sweeper. He began his professional career with Sydney United, who played in the now defunct National Soccer League. After moving to Marconi Fairfield, he had spells for Johor FC in Malaysia and F.K. Bodø/Glimt in Norway before returning to Marconi.

It has been suggested Gibson bears a resemblance to Derek Zoolander.[1]
