Chad Gabriel DeKoven
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chad Gabriel DeKoven is a U.S. felon and prison inmate who took the US federal government to court because he was not treated as a God. He claims he is a "Messiah-God".
DeKoven was convicted of armed robbery and imprisoned in Standish Prison in Bay City, Michigan. He sued the prison system because he "wasn't being treated like God". He demanded full-time personal attendants and thousands of trees, animals and precious metals. He also stated that he was supposedly elected as a president of USA in Florida in the Florida recount in 2000 and that he was the King of Jews. He also demanded full pardon, peace in the Middle East and return of US military personnel within 90 days.
The case of Chad DeKoven v. Michigan State Department of Corrections began in 2002. In April 2002 Judge David M. Lawson of the Michigan Superior Court ruled that the case was without merit, not to mention "delusional" and "frivolous". DeKoven had no Constitutional right to be treated as "supernatural being of power".
