CFYZ (AM)

CFYZ was a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at AM 1280 in Mississauga, Ontario. Owned and operated by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, the station broadcast flight arrival and departure schedules, and traffic and weather reports relating to Toronto Pearson International Airport.

On May 31, 2005 the radio service was suspended, and the GTAA is reported to be exploring alternatives. The radio station is no longer in operation. However, its broadcasting license was renewed by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission in May of 2006.
