CFRO is a community radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia. Broadcasting at 102.7 FM, the station operates as a cooperative and is branded as Co-Op Radio.
The station was launched in 1975 by a coalition of activist groups in Vancouver. The station airs public affairs, music and multilingual programming. Co-op radio, non-corporate media, is located in the downtown eastside. The Radio Station Cafe, which is an attached but separate unit to the station hosts special live broadcasts, and serves fresh fair-trade coffee daily.
