CFBR is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting an album oriented rock format at 100.3 on the FM dial in Edmonton, Alberta. The station uses the brand name The Bear.
The station was launched in 1951 by Sunwapta Broadcasting as CFRN-FM, simulcasting the AM programming of CFRN. It launched separate programming in 1964, and adopted the callsign CKXM in 1979. The station was subsequently sold to CAP Communications in 1988, and adopted the callsign CJKE the following year.
The station was then acquired by Standard Broadcasting in 1992, and adopted the current CFBR calls. (CFBR was formerly the callsign of an AM station in Sudbury, Ontario, which is now known as CHYC.)

The Bear's Morning show that airs weekdays from 5:30AM to 10:00AM. It is hosted by Paul Brown along with Yukon Jack and Gillian Foote. The Paul Brown Show also runs the 'Really Tough Contest' under the Paul Brown name. The contest remians true to its name, as contestants compete in challenging stunts to gain eligibility to win the grand prize of $40,000 CAD. Since 1993, The Bear has been putting on an awesome annual Halloween bash. It is a party filled with hot chicks in scimpy costumes and drunken mayhem. In 2005, the Trailer Park Boys hosted the 13th annual Halloween Howler and returned to host it once again in 2006.
