[edit] Al Gore, Jr.

Please stop nominating the article about Al Gore, Jr. for deletion. Let's face it. If the Bush daughters had been caught doing the kind of crap Gore, Jr. has been doing then there would be three or four Wikipedia articles on it, a separate article for each incident and quotes from every newspaper, magazine, TV/radio show that could be found, plus any references to the incident on The Simpsons, Family Guy, or John Stewart's Daily Show. But of course there are not links to those shows because the liberals that write for those shows don't want to jump ugly on one of their boys.--Getaway 18:30, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

The Media Research Center has done a great job pointing out the media bias in the separate treatments of Gore, Jr. and the Bush girls. You can read that dead on analysis here: CyberAlert, Friday June 1, 2001 (Vol. Six; No. 88). Once and while there is examples of that double standard here in the Wikipedia, let's not let that happen with Gore, Jr. He is a notable subject for an encyclopedia.--Getaway 18:57, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
