" They played for several years, but then largely topped in 1969." I don't understand. What does "largely topped" mean? -- Picapica 10:16, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
What he means is "stopped". I have corrected it. Unfortunately I have already created an article about Sean O'Riada, but without the accent on the letter e of "Sean". Perhaps someone should decide on the correct way to spell his name, and then go through all the articles. Ogg 13:38, 11 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- I did indeed mean stopped. Thanks for the correction. I've seen some variation in how O Riada's name is spelled, and I don't know a lick of Gaelic, so we might as well just leave it until someone who knows the rules for Irish diacritics comes along and moves it to the correct name. "stopped" - of course (I was thinking of something like topped = peaked!). NB: Seán Ó Riada is spelt thus (the fada, or accute accent, goes on the "a" of Seán). Will correct in articles. -- Picapica 09:11, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)
