[edit] Alternative Template layout?

Please could we try using the template shown below? (I have already used it to replace the existing one, but please revert if you have strong objections).

I think it sits more comfortably on the page and is easier to place in relation to pictures etc. I know that few of the "Music of ..." pages have pictures (yet), but when I tried positioning some pics on the Music of Kyrgyzstan page the existing vertical template made it very difficult to make the page look attractive, wherever it was placed.

The template shown below is based on the Countries in Central Asia one, and changes size dynamically in relation to your window size: the vertical one is an unchanging, inflexible block. SiGarb 11:38, 21 November 2005 (UTC)

Central Asian music

Afghanistan | Badakhshan | Buryatia | Gansu | Inner Mongolia | Kazakhstan | Khakassia | Kyrgyzstan | Mongolia | Qinghai | Tajikistan | Tibet | Turkmenistan | Tuva | Uzbekistan | Xinjiang

It probably needs to be positioned at the bottom of a page, as the country ones are, rather than the top, where it is at present. I haven't time just at this moment to do that on all the pages which use it. SiGarb 11:44, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
