Century Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Century Park (世纪公园) is a park with an adjacent metro station in the city of Shanghai.

The station is a part of Line 2. The park is the biggest in Shanghai. It features a concert stage, and visitors can hire tandems or cycling-cars to travel through it. The park's landscaping combines British, Japanese, and Chinese gardening styles.

Another big park, Gongqing Forest Park, is in Yangpu District in the north of the city. In contrast to Century Park, it has no metro connection and is currently accessible by taxi or bus only, so it is somewhat less crowded.
