The Central States Football League, established in 2000, is a college athletic conference affiliated with the NAIA. Member institutions are located in Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Charter members included Haskell Indian Nations, Langston, Northwestern Oklahoma State, Southwestern Assemblies of God, and Peru State.

From 1964 to 1974, The Central States Football League (CSFL) was a semi-professional football leadue with teams located in Wisconsin and Illinois. For much of its history the northern division was made up of the Madison Mustangs, Manitowoc Chiefs, Sheboygan Redwings and West Allis Spartans. The southern division was made up of the Racine Raiders, Rockford Rams, Delevan Red Devils and the Lake County Rifles.
