Central High School (Springfield, Missouri)

Central High School is a high school located in Springfield, Missouri, United States. The school was built in 1893 and is the only International Baccalaureate school in the Ozarks.

Central High School was founded under the name Springfield High School in 1893. It replaced the previous high school, also named Central, which operated from 1871 until 1893. Springfield High School graduated its first class in 1894. The school was renamed Central High School (its current name) with the construction of Springfield's second oldest high school, Parkview, in 1957. The school's yearbook is known as The Resume and the school's newspaper is called The High Times. Central's mascot is the bulldog.

Being the oldest school in Springfield, Central has an abundance of currently unused areas, perfect for exploration. Note, The Explorers. Look for their mark, a card found in these places.
