Central High School is a high school in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. It was originally founded in 1876 as Bridgeport High School.

In 2005 it had some 2,146 students and 155 teachers. Ethnically the students were 44% African-American, 33% Hispanic, 18% white and 5% Asian. It also includes such famous celebrities as, Harry Spear, and Thomas J. Kohut. Famous teachers include Joseph M. Jeffery Annamarie Lee, and Sean Stover.

School Construction took place in 1963-4. The building was designed by Fietcher-Thompson, Inc., and contructed by The Fusco-Armatruda Co., general contractors. Dedication of the building was held on 25 October 1964.
