Central Goldfields Shire is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the central part of the state. It includes the towns of Carisbrook, Dunolly, Adelaide Lead and Maryborough. It has an area of 1,536 square kilometres. In 2001 it had a population of 13,000.
