Center of the World, Ohio

Center of the World is an unincorporated community in Braceville Township, Trumbull County, Ohio. It consists of several houses and a few retail establishments centered at the crossroads where State Route 82 and State Route 5 diverge. The community is recognized by the Ohio Department of Transportation and appears on maps. The ODOT sign for the community on the highway has been stolen numerous times.^{[citation needed]} The community takes its name from a store that was located at the crossroads in the 19th century.
