Cellador are a Power Metal band from Omaha, Nebraska, formed by guitarist Chris Petersen in 2003. After a constant rotation of members in the band's earliest days, Chris managed to maintain a relatively steady line-up by 2004 and the band were eventually signed by Metal Blade after playing a show with The Black Dahlia Murder.

Sam Chatham left the band after they were signed and was replaced by Bill Hudson, who relocated to Nebraskas from his native Brazil.

Bass player Valentin Rakhmanov is originally from Russia, but his family moved to America when he was still a child.
