From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Celilo Village, Oregon is an unincorporated Native American community on the Columbia River in Wasco County, Oregon near the site of Celilo Falls. In 2003 there were about 100 permanent residents living in 14 dwellings, a far cry from its previous incarnation as a major cultural and trading center before Celilo Falls was inundated by The Dalles Dam in 1957.
