Club Deportivo Alcoyano is a football team based in Alcoi in the autonomous community of Valencia. Founded in 1929, its plays in Segunda División B - Group 3. Her stadium is Estadio El Collao with capacity of 5,000 seaters. The team is also known by its name in Valencian: Alcoià.

A simile exists in Spanish which includes the name of this football club, "Tener más moral que el Alcoyano", transl. "To have as much morale as Alcoyano". The phrase possibly originates from the 1950s season, when Alcoyano were losing a game by 0-13 at home but never gave up and towards the end of the match were still trying hard to score. However, this is disputed by some historians, some who say the origins are older.

In the 2005-2006 season, Alcoyano got a good run in the Copa del Rey, beating RCD Mallorca 4-1 and losing by just one goal to nil in the fourth round against giants Atlético Madrid.
