CBY is a radio station broadcasting at 990 kHz (AM) from Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and is the local Radio One station of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

The station was launched in 1943 as VOWN, by the Broadcasting Corporation of Newfoundland, the pre-Confederation public broadcaster. On March 31, 1949, BCN was absorbed by the CBC when Newfoundland joined Canada, and adopted its current callsign. Originally broadcasting at 790 KHz, it moved to 990 KHz (exact year not known).

CBY produces its own local morning show, The West Coast Morning Show with host Dorothy King. The station otherwise broadcasts programming from CBN in St. John's during the network's local programming blocks.
